Roger Grech

 

Roger graduated from the Central Institute of Technology with a diploma in podiatry and was awarded top student at the completion of his final year.

 

He undertook post graduate studies in the mid 1990’s and graduated with a first class Bachelor of Science (Honours) degree in Podiatry from Brighton University (UK).

 

Roger has been guest speaker at various local and national conferences over the years and has served on a number of advisory committees within his professional body and other diabetes/educational organizations.

 

He has served as an expert advisor to the Health and Disability Commissioner, a member of the Professional Conduct Committee and continues to provide ongoing education and mentoring to new graduates and podiatry students.

 

In 2012 Roger was the recipient of the Inaugural Podiatry New Zealand Award for his contribution to the Podiatry profession in New Zealand.

 In 2021 he received a Leadership award and Life Membership to Podiatry NZ.

 

He is passionate about his profession and specializes in providing high standards of care in general podiatry services, including minor surgery, biomechanics, orthotics, sports/musculoskeletal medicine, diabetic foot disease, wound care and Children’s foot problems.

KHAN PURI

 

Khan graduated from AUT with a Bachelor of Health Science in Podiatry. Prior to undertaking his career in Podiatry, he completed his Certificate in Fitness Instruction from AUT.

He enjoys all aspects of podiatry work but has a special interest in treating and managing diabetic foot disease and voluntarily attends the Foot Ulcer Clinic, Manukau Super Clinic as an observer under the supervision of senior diabetes podiatrists.

He was awarded the AUT Joe Spring award in 2016 for orthotic therapy.

Khan also has a keen interest in musculoskeletal disorders and sports injuries augmented by his background as a fitness instructor and has a certificate in Sports Massage. He also enjoys minor surgery and wound care.

As with all podiatrists working at St Lukes Foot Clinic he is committed to further education and an evidence-based patient care approach for optimal outcomes.

Outside work, Khan loves to go to the gym and keeps updated with the latest research trends in foot & ankle disorders and takes every opportunity to attend seminars and conferences to expand his knowledge base.

Regardless of all, he believes that foot health is very important to keep you moving forward and he is here to help you to achieve it!
